Controlling the narrative

santorine-4-playboypolitician-21-740x552

One of the cornerstones of any political campaign is controlling the narrative as it relates to your candidate.

The left is masterful at doing this, and generally they do it with elaborate lies that they start planting months before the election.

They establish fake “news” sites that make outlandish claims about a candidate, and they use “Citizens United” as a crutch to hide behind the lies.

Usually, a postcard campaign from some unheard of “K-Street” (in DC) organization like “Real Americans PAC”, followed with some media.

The Republican’s, supremely convinced of the superiority of their approach to government, don’t do a good job of smearing the other side.

I think it’s sad. Not that political campaigns have come to this, they have always been base.

I think it’s sad that the Republican’s don’t have the same kind of “department of dirty tricks” as the Democrats.

  1. I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility problems?

A couple of my blog readers have complained about my site not working correctly
in Explorer but looks great in Firefox. Do you
have any suggestions to help fix this problem? http://ultrananomax.org/

  2. First off I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question that
I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was
interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.

I have had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10
to 15 minutes tend to be lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any
    recommendations or tips? Thanks! http://lindseyc5116757.wikidot.com/blog:3

    • So sorry I didn’t see this until now and thank you so much for the compliment. In my case there’s no centering involved. One thing I do know is you can’t force yourself to write. I am constantly searching through the news and at a certain point something triggers a response. In other words something ticks me off. At that point my mind goes on auto pilot and it’s as though I’m taking dictation more than writing. Trying to get everything down as quickly as possible before I lose the train of thought. It’s as though I get into a zone. I’m sorry. That probably wasn’t very helpful and probably makes no sense but that’s how it works for me. There I days I can’t write for love or money. I draw a blank. Nothing inspires me which is incredibly discouraging but then it can flip on a dime. Thank you so much for reading. If I can truly think of anything that is helpful I will get back to you. What kind of writing do you do?
