For more than a year the Democrats have alleged awful things about our President. Mental instability, incompetence, womanizing and more.
The average person knows it’s either a lie, wrong, or does not matter (I mean what do you expect, he has been married three times).
Their minions take to the streets wearing vagina suits with signs that say “NOT MY PRESIDENT”. I’m assuming they think this endears them to middle class voters in places like Texas. I’m not so sure.
The Democrats have a minor functionary who keeps filing for impeachment against President Trump. Of course he gets a laughable handful of the required 220 votes.
Calling a tax repeal “Armageddon” or “Theft of public resources”?
All of it is nuts. The voters know this, too.
Lets look at the facts:
- Growth rate north of 4%
- Stock market closing in on 27,000
- Lowest Unemployment rate in 18 years.
- Corporate tax now competitive with the rest of the world
- Working men and women are seeing more of their paychecks
- Government over-reach is being rolled back invigorating US business
- The move to right size Government is afoot
- The US produced more oil than the Middle East for the first time ever
- Wages are rising for the first time in a decade
- This growth is reducing the deficit and will reduce the debt
Add to this the number of politicians who are changing party – West Virginia Governor Jim Justice most notable among the dozen or so high profile elected officials and candidates who left, in the words of one, “a party that I fail to recognize any longer”.
Providing additional fuel for the fire was half dozen Democrats who moved to third party or independent and intend to caucus with the Republicans.
It comes down to this – if the current trend continues for the second and third quarters of 2018, and you’re not on the “Trump Train” you’re going to have a hard time getting elected.
I’m not a betting man, but I would wager that not only will the trends continue, but the positive indicators will increase. There is no reason to believe the United States of America can’t produce a 5% growth rate in the near future.
I’ve read the polls, and keep reminding myself that with the exception of Rasmussen, these polls all predicted a Hillary win. They were wrong. They are wrong now.
Voters are not fickle. Voters want to win.
Trump has broken all the rules. That is what we hired him to do. Donald Trump won the election because people are sick and tired of “Washington as usual” or what I refer to as Possum. You know, what’s been run over in the middle of the road.
There is a George Bernard Shaw quote that sums up our President very nicely:
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the conditions that surround him… The unreasonable man adapts surrounding conditions to himself… All progress depends on the unreasonable man.”
Donald Trump is the ultimate unreasonable man, and his “out of the box” approach, and “not the same old Washington” change are working, and spectacularly.
Progress. I know it’s a word co-opted by the left. It’s completely appropriate here in its literal sense.
The middle class is thrilled with the prospect of a future secured by performance, and for the first time in decades, that demand of performance is being made of our legislators, and in boardrooms across the country.
We have a decisive leader, and he’s doing what leaders do. I’m genuinely sorry if he has moved your cheese.
Rest assured that President Donald J. Trump will remain unreasonable in his demands for better for all of us.
It’s up to you. If you would like to be on the losing side of history, have at it.
If not, you are welcome to join us Remember, history is written by victors.
